Gift wrapping guide
Now that’s it’s the holiday season you just bought a ton of gifts and now you have to figure out a way to wrap every single one of them. You don’t have to stress yourself because not only is gift wrapping a fun experience, but also an easy one given that you know your basic stuff. Now this guide will provide you with simple and easy steps to follow to help you get things done quicker and with enough practice and repetition, achieve the perfect wrap every time without much trouble.
First is to make sure you have the basics, some tape, scissor and gift wrapping paper. Now make sure you have enough to cover your entire gift plus a little bit of overlap to ensure proper coverage. The first step is to place your gift face down in the center of your wrap and bring the paper from the long side of the box up to the middle of your package. Pull both sides tightly and tape it down shut..
On to the ends where all you need to do is to face the open end towards you and fold the right and left edges, pushing the sides in next to your box to form flaps. Fold the top flap down to the box and secure with tape, do the same with the bottom flap and repeat on the other side of the package.
To finish the wrap, you would want to tie a nice ribbon around it to give it that clean and elegant look. To tie a ribbon to a knot, you just have to first lay the ribbon lengthwise along the middle of the box, then flip the gift over and wrap the ribbon around until it meets the middle and fold right side over left. Pull the ribbon up the short sides until it meets at the top again, tie into a knot and cut off all the excess and there you go. Make sure to inspect you gift making sure all everything is secure and clean and you are good to go.
